The Motherload

Mosaic Art Collective in partnership with Women's Caucus for Art is pleased to present our May exhibition, The Motherload.

Whether it's tending to your garden, caring for a loved one or friend, reparenting yourself with grace, compassion, and understanding, or raising your children - whether biological, adopted, or bonus kids - we ALL mother in one way or another. There are countless ways to nurture and be nurtured, and the concept of motherhood has been depicted, represented, and glorified throughout history in every ethnic, cultural, religious, spiritual, social, and environmental context.

As we gather for our May show, we will be exploring works that examine, unravel, deconstruct, and rewrite the myths of motherhood.

Mosaic Art Collective is dedicated to showcasing a broad and diverse range of perspectives, and we strongly encourage entries from all genders.

WCA/NH is the New Hampshire Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art. They are part of a national organization that promotes the advancement of women in the visual arts through educational programs, networking and exhibition opportunities.
